SF Ballet: Your adult ballet journey
SF Ballet makes adult ballet accessible to everyone. Our classical ballet training is tailored so adults can comfortably join the classes at any age, at any level.
For those with no ballet experience, we make sure you understand all the principles to practise ballet safely and to be able to build on a solid ballet foundation.
You'll join a community of like-minded individuals who love dance and who discovered that adult ballet is the perfect way to exercise their body while also engaging the mind.

Simple classes with friendly teachers
Our instructions are easy to follow. We won't make you jump in (or around) without taking care you know what you're supposed to do. We keep the classes small so nobody gets left behind.
Beginner adult ballet group class
An adult ballet class for those with little or no experience with ballet but would like to give it a try and explore the benefits. You'll be working in a small group so you don't miss out on any corrections and can easily follow.
Private ballet class
Whether you're a new starter or have more ballet experience. The perfect option if you want to focus on specific steps, improve your posture, analyse and understand ballet steps in more detail, or work on progressing to a more advanced level.
Meet your ballet teacher
Sophie brings you a wealth of experience from her professional career in The Australian Ballet, West Australian Ballet and Czech National Ballet. She has been coaching aspiring and adult ballet dancers for many years, perfecting her pedagogy that makes her classes an accessible, yet challenging workout.
